Join MOHAI and the Pacific Northwest Historians Guild for a series of social history walking tours around Seattle this summer. This case study, led by Historian Roneva Keel, investigates Seattle's North Lake Union neighborhood in the early 1900's. Learn about Seattle’s larger transformation into the manufacturing and trade center of the Pacific Northwest. The people, businesses, and technological innovations that drove Seattle’s urban revolution are entwined with the histories of labor and industry, race and ethnicity, immigration, and Northlake's ever-changing environment. Tour starts by the J.P. Patches statue on N 34th Street in Fremont.
