Community Conversations: The Reality of Fake News

Accusations of “fake news” have dominated the national news cycle for the last two years. Misinformation runs rampant on social media and erodes the public’s trust in traditional media. This is not a new problem. Political distortion of truth characterizes much of America’s press history. Join Enrique Cerna as he moderates an important community conversation with historians and media experts that explores how to find the facts amid the fiction.  Presented in partnership with King County TV.

Complimentary childcare available during the program by advance registration for children ages 4 and up.
