Working Waterfronts: A History Cruise on the SS Virginia V

Cruise through Lake Union’s shipbuilding history aboard the SS Virginia V! Enjoy lively commentary from nautical narrator Joshua Heath while passing by icons of Seattle’s historic and contemporary working waterfront. Examine up close the tools used to create and repair boats and chat with local shipwrights. Beer, wine and snacks will be available for purchase on board the vessel. Special pricing for Members onboard.

 Cancellation Policy

  • Tickets purchased to museum programs may be returned for a full refund if cancelled with seven days advance notice. Contact or 206-324-1126 x108 to process a refund.
  • If you are unable to attend a program, you may transfer the ticket to another individual by forwarding them a copy of the e-ticket. Will Call tickets may be transferred within 2 days of the scheduled program by emailing with the order number, name on the order and the new name of individual picking up the order.

Ticketing Information

  • Boarding begins at 1:30 pm.
  • All passengers must be boarded by 1:55 pm. There will be no late boarding.
  • The boat will leave the dock promptly at 2:00 pm.
